NSQF is a nationally integrated education and competency based skill framework that will provide for multiple pathways both within vocational education and between general and vocational education to link one level of learning to another higher level and enable learners to progress to higher levels from any starting point in education and skill system. It is a framework to enhance employability skills of our students by introducing applied learning skills in integration with academic stream.
The trainings conducted in the scheme are based on the National Occupational Standards set by NSDC through its Sector Skill Councils. The scheme also mandates the SSCs to conduct assessments and certification jointly with the State Board
The Indian government centrally sponsors the PM SHRI School program.
The goal of this initiative is to establish over 14,500 PM SHRI schools run by the Central Government, State, UT Government, and local organizations, such as KVS and NVS, where all students are treated with respect and feel valued, where a safe and engaging learning environment is provided, where a variety of learning opportunities are provided, and where all students have access to adequate physical infrastructure and learning-related resources.
As envisioned by the National Education Policy 2020, it will develop students into involved, productive, and contributing citizens who will help create a society that is plural, inclusive, and egalitarian.
These educational institutions will prioritize developing comprehensive, well-rounded people with essential 21st-century skills in addition to improving cognitive growth. More experiential, holistic, integrated, play/toy-based (especially in the foundational years), inquiry-driven, discovery-oriented, learner-centered, discussion-based, adaptable, and pleasurable pedagogy will be used in these institutions. The learning objectives of each student in each grade will be the main focus. All levels of assessment will be competency-based and focused on conceptual comprehension and applying knowledge to real-world scenarios.
NSQF is providing a Certified and Expert Resource Persons from near-by industries came to schools and share their skills and experiences with students to give them more knowledge about the skills/sectors which help them to get more interest and inspiration in the subject. Counselling session/ Job Fair
A counselling session for students of L-4 is organized to guide them for future. For the students who are interested in placement, Job fair is organized where a number of employers and job seekers come together for the purpose of applying and interviewing for jobs.
Students were taken to near-by industries, Technical Institutes forexperiencing the live working and to learn things practically. A real time job-training is provided to students in their concerned skills/sectors.
After counselling of students, those who are interested in placements, A job fair is organized and students placed in company of their choice and requirements. There is also a facility of On Job Training for students of 9th to 12th Classes.
PM SHRI GGSSS Mahendergarh is a centrally sponsored scheme by the Government of India.PM SHRI Schools are managed by Central Government/State/ in which every student feels welcomed and cared for, where a safe and stimulating learning environment exists, where a wide range of learning experiences are offered, and where good physical infrastructure and appropriate resources conducive to learning are available to all students.
